Bob's Burgers & Brew Birch Bay

My wife and I love Bob’s Burgers—the food, atmosphere, and service are generally great. The one thing I’ve never quite gotten used to, though, is being brought the check before we’ve finished our meal. Sometimes we’d like to stay a bit longer, chat, and maybe have a couple more beers after dinner. No one ever asks whether we’d like anything else; instead, the check is placed on the table right away. The last time this happened, I felt like saying, “I guess we’re leaving.” Perhaps this is just a difference in customs compared to Europe, but to me it feels rude to bring the check without first asking if we’d like to order something more.

Service is always friendly, and the menu has something for everyone- a very broad selection of choices including their famous "squirrel" sandwich now available in "chipmunk" size on the lunch menu (don't worry, it is beef and not rodent). The bar also has a wide and full range of liquor and beer.

I eat at Bob’s frequently and have for years. My favorite dinner is their Prawn Platter. Their food has always been decent but their numerous cooks and staff currently deserve a 5 star rating. The prawns they recently served me were large, plump and perfectly battered lightly and were delicious. Add a baked potato to enjoy the largest baked potato with the addition of being seasoned before baking. Great job Felix. Cortney was perfect as a server and I’ve noticed their clientele appear to be regulars and polite, friendly. It’s more than just burgers and brew.

We have been going down to Bob’s burger each time we got to the States. Love the food. The burgers are amazing. Wife and I love the Hawaiian burger. Patty is cooked to perfection, love the Jo Jo’s. The fish and chips were also absolutely Delish! Our server (I think her name was Ariana) was absolutely amazing. She was very friendly and quick . Can’t wait to go back again

My cousin and I both had a great experience at Bob’s Burgers & Brews in Birch Bay last night, largely thanks to our server, Ariana. Ariana was friendly, attentive, and somehow always showed up right when we needed something—either she has excellent timing or a sixth sense for empty glasses (refilled our sodas at least 3 times). Drinks stayed full, food came out hot, and everything ran smoothly. She kept things professional while still being personable and easy to joke with, which made the meal feel relaxed instead of rushed. The food was great, but the service is what really made us want to order more (cousin ordered a second burger after the first...) Make sure you order the Molten Lava Cake dessert with ice cream! If you’re hoping for a meal where nothing goes wrong and someone actually seems happy to be helping you, ask for Ariana. Five stars and zero regrets. Will be back soon and hungry for more.

We tried Bob’s Burgers & Brew for the first time while in the area for work, and it was a great experience. We ordered Bob’s Bonanza Burger and a Crispy Chicken Salad. The burger was delicious, and the yam fries we got as a substitute were excellent. The salad was fresh and tasty too. We sat outside in the courtyard, which was peaceful and added to the experience. It also seems like a dog-friendly spot, as we saw a guest with their dog dining outside. The service was good, and the portions were generous. Overall, a lovely visit!

Consistently Great Food & Friendly Service at Birch Bay Bob’s. We’ve been here multiple times and have never had a bad experience! The food is always delicious, and the service is super friendly—they were especially great with our two kids. This time we had the seafood platter (so good!), the hot honey crispy chicken sandwich with to die for potato salad, and our kids shared the kids burger with leftovers to spare. The coconut margarita and Hugo spritz were both fantastic. It’s the perfect spot to hit after a fun beach day, with easy parking and a relaxed, welcoming vibe. Highly recommend!

It was my first time here, and I loved the food and atmosphere. Burger was perfect, and I tried the JoJos(side), and they were delicious! The service was great. I believe Hailey was my server, and she checked in often, which was nice and was very informative on the menu. I will most definitely be back to check out more of the menu offerings.
